Swyxware version 7
Swyxware 7 fully supports Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 as well
as Vista, Server 2003 and XP.
Aside from the new operating systems supported, SwyxWare Version
7 offers many new capabilities including support for status signalling
between different Swyx servers which means that colleagues across
different sites and/or countries can now see what someone’s status
is.
The new, fully integrated fax server
solution also offers the ability to send faxes directly from
the SwyxIt! softphone application.
For optimal call management,
an extended call journal with filter functions is now included.
This
allows
for example a quick overview of incoming or outgoing calls, missed
calls or recorded conversations.
In addition a centralised
managed phonebook showing presence information is now offered.
